Detailed Gorilla Safari Plan
Day 1: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park.
You will be picked from Kampala, Entebbe to transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, the habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda. You will have lunch enroute and arrive at the park in the evening. Overnight at a lodge near the area whose gorilla permit you hold. For instance Gorilla Safari Lodge and Chameleon Hill Lodge in Rushaga or Gorilla Mist Camp in Ruhija area all on Full Board basis.
Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in the Forest
After a heavy breakfast at the lodge, you will be transferred to the park offices for a briefing about the gorilla trekking exercise entailing the rules and guidelines while in the wild before and with the gorillas. You will then set off to the forest in search of the mighty gorillas. The time you will take is unpredictable but usually between 3-8 hours depending on the movement of the gorillas on that day and the distance range of the gorilla family you are trekking. Coming face to face with the gorillas is one of the most electrifying experiences of a lifetime.

Day 3: Drive back to your preferred Destination
On this day, the driver guide will transfer you back to Kampala or a Entebbe in case of an evening flight. You will have lunch on the way in Mbarara Town. Arrive in the evening, marking the end of the gorilla safari in Uganda.
